About Us
Welcome to Pip’s Pals!
My name is Sophie Barton; I live in Aylesbury with my husband and two children. Born and bred in Aylesbury, my love of animals began whilst growing up on a small holding with a menagerie of different pets and farm animals.
After 15 years working in digital marketing, I decided to follow my heart and passion for animals and set up Pip’s Pals in 2016.
I love to horse ride and each weekend I take Tilly, a beautiful Connemara pony, out on a hack through the stunning Chilterns. I also try to keep myself healthy by squeezing in a run or two each week with my running buddies, I especially enjoy cross country trail runs, the muddier the better!
This is Pippa our young black working Cocker Spaniel who shares her home with our other pets. Her best friend is our nine year old bengal cat Moses. He is incredibly patient and tolerates having his ears licked and personal space invaded by the cheeky pup. They are never far from each others side and can often be found curled up together snoozing after a crazy game of zoomies round the house.
Pip goes bonkers for a tennis ball and will sniff them out from anywhere, we often return from our walks with a ball another poor dog has lost! She also loves meeting up with her doggie friends when we go Gun Dog training.
We also have our chickens, Winny, Lulu and Martha, the fresh eggs they give us are amazing and Pip loves to be treated to one on top of her tea!
